Is there a fee to work with Rapture Travels?

Yes, there is a fee for the professional services Rapture Travels provides, starting at $375 per trip. However, your time is valuable, and we will save you hours upon hours. We put in the work to ensure you receive exactly the experience you dreamed of, because your satisfaction is truly our priority. We are confident that you’ll find this service fee will prove invaluable.

What if I’m interested in only accommodation bookings?

We are a hotel specialist with personal connections and preferred partnerships to properties around the United States and the globe. Many of our clients are solely in need of an accommodation and work with us to receive best published rates, or better, as well as hundreds of dollars in additional amenities like upgrades and complimentary breakfasts, all compliments of Rapture Travels and our preferred partners. We have access to thousands of 4-5 star properties: Some reputable names include Four Seasons, Belmond, Peninsula, Relais & Chateaux, Fairmont Hotels, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Aman, Ritz Carlton, and additional unique, boutique properties. 

If I’m only booking a hotel, is there still a fee?

There is a nominal fee, $50 per person, for us to research a single destination’s accommodations. If you have already identified the hotel you are interested in, and are curious about bonuses, ask us! What if I’m interested in booking a home or apartment with Airbnb or VRBO—can you help

 If you have a larger travel group, are looking for accommodations within a certain budget, or simply want a bit more breathing space, a private home or apartment may be a better fit than a hotel for your vacation. We work with vetted, private home partners that allow us to be sure that the home, villa, or apartment you reserve meets both your preferences and our discerning standards. Unfortunately, when it comes to Airbnb and VRBO properties, this vetting process is not available to us. Although those properties may have a wonderful online presence, there is always a risk that they will not meet your expectations. When you work with us, you will receive information you can trust, and, ultimately, end up with a property you love.

Can Rapture Travels assist in booking hotels and flights with points?

We understand hotel and flight points are valuable. As these points are in your name, we will ensure we refer you to make reservations directly so you can put them to good use.

Can you help me with flight bookings?

Yes, we are happy to book flights for our clients. There is an air booking fee of $50 domestic and $100 international. Additionally, many of the tour suppliers we partner with can provide internal country flight reservations of all classes. 

How long will it take to plan a customized trip itinerary?

In most cases, planning a trip itinerary will take five to seven business days as we pride ourselves on curating personalized experiences unique to your travel needs. This time span may vary, but we will be exceptionally timely and frequent in our communications with you so you know what to expect. 

Does Rapture Travels recommend travel protection/insurance?

No one anticipates things will go wrong on a long awaited vacation, however, there are many circumstances which may force you to cancel your trip, return home early, or seek medical treatment. At Rapture Travels, we care that your investment is protected, so, yes, we do recommend travel protection. As part of our services, we can guide you to reputable travel insurance providers so you are ready for the unexpected. 

What if I have questions regarding visas and or passport requirements?

The U.S. Passports and International Travel website provides up-to-date passport and visa travel information for U.S. citizens traveling abroad. Well before your departure date, we will be sure to consult the site, share the latest information, and guide you through the process of obtaining a visa if necessary.

How will my travel documents be sent to me?

Once we have completed your trip’s itinerary, an e-itinerary will be sent to you via email including all your booking confirmations, contact numbers, and pre-departure information. This itinerary will be available in a printable PDF document, as well as a downloadable app accessible before and during your trip without Wi-Fi.

Can Rapture Travels answer questions regarding vaccination requirements to foreign countries?

We recommend that you consult with your primary care physician regarding the countries you plan to visit for preventive care measures. In addition, The Center for Disease Control and Prevention provides up to date information regarding travelers’ health. We will 

happily share with you the CDC’s latest information to help you prepare for your trip.

Will Rapture Travels assist with dining reservations during my trip?

 Our aim is for your travel experience to be as seamless and relaxing as possible. One way we ensure this is through connecting you directly with the hotel’s concierge to book dining reservations as well as spa and wellness appointments. This is complementary and everything is scheduled directly through the hotel. Should you desire Rapture Travels’ personal assistance with these details, we offer concierge services billed at an hourly fee of $150.

How do I get in touch with Rapture Travels during my holiday if I need to?

We understand that unpredictable circumstances may occur. With almost all of our trips we have an emergency contact in the country you are traveling in. For the rare cases when we do not, a representative of Rapture Travels will always be available.
